It was back in 1619 is when the United States’ first marijuana law was enacted at Jamestown, Virginia. It was mandatory right then & there that all farmers grew Indian Hemp. Laws were later enacted in 1631 for Massachusetts and next in Connecticut during 1632,..lastly the Chesapeake colonies followed in the early 1700s. Indian Hemp was considered legal tender in most of the Americas between 1631 and the early 1800s. In America, taxes could even be paid for with Indian hemp for over two centuries. It was also between 1763 and 1767 that Humans could actually be jailed in a state like Virginia for NOT growing Indian hemp during dry-spells…
Cannabis Extractum of Indian Hemp was used as medicine in 1850, and through till 1942 fluid extracts were marketed by major drug manufacturers such as Parke Davis, Lilly and Squibb. Please note that not one death from cannabis has been reported to this date.
Yet today, jail cells hold non violent Humans captive over the Cannabis plant.
Lindy: “No Knock Raid” – a song about the drug war’s deadliest tactic.
“Note: This video contains graphic images of violence and mature language. Viewer discretion is advised.
“No Knock Raid,” written and performed by Toronto-based musician Lindy, is a searing indictment of one of the most aggressive, ubiquitous, and mistaken tactics in the War on Drugs.
Consider only the most recent raid to cause a national outrage: On May 5, 2011, 26-year-old Jose Guerena, who survived two tours in the Iraq War, was shot and killed during a raid on his house by a Pima County, Arizona SWAT team that fired dozens of bullets through his front door. Guerena, married and a father of two, had just finished a 12-hour shift at a local mine. Law enforcement sources claim he was involved in narco-trafficking but have yet to produce any evidence supporting that claim. Officers involved in the death have been cleared of wrongdoing.
Guerena’s death is not an isolated incident. As USA Today reports, an astonishing 70,000 to 80,000 militarized police raids take place on a annual basis in America, many of them on mistaken suspects and many of them ending with injury or death for police and citizens alike.
As Reason Contributing Editor Radley Balko and others have documented, the militarization of standard police practice is a direct consequence of the modern-day War on Drugs, started 40 years ago by President Richard Nixon – and perpetuated by every administration since. (For a comprehensive report on the failure of the drug war to achieve any of its stated goals, read “Ending the Drug War: A Dream Deferred,” by Law Enforcement Against Prohibition.)

The world needs a solution…
It is the Cannabis/Indian hemp plant that not only effectively treats & improves quality of Human life, but also prolongs or saves many Human lives. As well it can save the planet too….if the masses let nature be the guide (NOT MONEY!).
Many Humans all over the world are learning about the EndoCannabinoid System (ECS) and are flooding their Endcannabinoid System with natural exogenous phytocannabinoids as the perfect natural remedy for anything that ails them. This is naturally proving to be far more of an effective treatment than anything available via Big Pharma’s regimen. Big Pharma wants to adulterate phytocannabinoids, isolate them and market the heck out of a plant that they have always been desperate to patent…oh and they are…
Many Humans with severe, debilitating and terminal illness’ have found the Canna~treasure chest of Natural Medicine…
“I sincerely believe that the plant cannabinoids are a neglected pharmacological treasure trove.”
https://www.freedomwares.ca/plant-cannabinoids-a-neglected-pharmacological-treasure-trove/
A dysregulated or deficient Endocannabinoid System is implicated in virtually all Human diseases and disorders… Google it!
<—…nothing really new here…<—-
So why must any Human ever face jailtime for a plant?
…one way or another everyone is most certainly a “patient”…some just don’t know it yet…in the meantime if you are fortunate enough,..use this miraculous plant in all of it’s forms to see just what it canna do for YOU! 🙂
*No One Should Go To Jail For A Plant!.
…but they still are!!!
…the federal government in most countries want the crooked, patented, adulterated “Marihuana” market/economy in their back pocket…
…and the majority of you are letting them have at it…
Either way,.. Humans need to learn who is the real pusher now…
Follow the money trail$….

“The Florida Election is coming up in November 2014 and a there is a great need for education and awareness for so many issues. Legalization of Medical Marijuana (Amendment 2) is on top of my list at the moment for several reasons. The obvious one is for the health and welfare of people wanting, and more often, needing an alternative to the Big Pharma drugs that are killing hundreds of thousands of people every year.”

Though the laws and enforcement in every country (let alone their states or provinces…) may vary,..there are still countries that also execute Humans for charges related to the Cannabis plant. This serves no good to the Human Race at all.
-On April 19th, 2006 Ramli Kasron was executed/hanged over cannabis… 🙁 ∞
“MUAR: Former national cyclist Ramli Kasron was sentenced to death by the High Court for trafficking in 4,477gm of cannabis in 2006.
Ramli, 41, from Batu Pahat, had been charged under Section 39B(1) (a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 (DDA) which carries the death penalty.”
Sentenced to death: Former national cyclist Ramli being escorted to the Muar High Court (photo on left).
Despite the fact that JC Ahmadi told Ramli that although he had been found guilty and sentenced to death, and that there were still avenues for him to appeal…Ramli was hanged the same day…
“Ramli, who represented Malaysia at the Manila SEA Games in 1991 had took part in several national cycling events. He was arrested at the Air Hitam toll plaza on April 19, 2006.
According to the charge he had 4,477gm of cannabis on the back seat of his car when police stopped him at about 6.45pm.
The former cyclist was represented by Allen Yu Chin Aun while deputy public prosecutor Mohd Ashrof Adrin Kamarul prosecuted.”
America’s War On Drugs – The Prison Industrial Complex
“1999 . The war on drugs has been going on for more than three decades. Today, nearly 500,000 Americans are imprisoned on drug charges. In 1980 the number was 50,000. Last year $40 billion in taxpayer dollars were spent in fighting the war on drugs.
As a result of the incarceration obsession, the United States operates the largest prison system on the planet, and the U.S. nonviolent prisoner population is larger than the combined populations of Wyoming and Alaska. Try to imagine the Drug Enforcement Administration erecting razor wire barricades around two states to control crime and you’ll get the picture.
According to the U.S. Dept of Justice, the number of offenders under age 18 imprisoned for drug offenses increased twelvefold from 1985 to 1997. The group most affected by this propensity for incarceration is African-Americans. From 1985 to 1997, the percentage of African-American young people put in prison increased from 53 to 62 percent.
Today, 89 percent of police departments have paramilitary units, and 46 percent have been trained by active duty armed forces. The most common use of paramilitary units is serving drug-related search warrants, which usually involve no-knock entries into private homes.”
Even the countries that don’t practice killing Humans over cannabis still have blood on their hands. I don’t know about you,..but I believe that it is still a form of Death Sentence to sentence any Human to spend a true Life Sentence in a jail cell. Any Human that dies in the cold atmosphere of a jail cell has been sentenced to death (in my opinion…)…
…in some countries it could happen to your Mother, Father, Grandfather, Grandmother, Uncle, Aunt, cousin…the list goes on & on…right?…Cannabis Prohibition is an ill health inducing genocidal tool. If a 57 year old Human is handed down a jail sentence of 25 years…this also in my opinion is the same as a Life Sentence…as well I do believe that sending a patient to jail (for a plant that they obviously won’t be allowed to medicate with to save their life in jail…) is a form of Death Sentence too…
Realize, it ain’t uncommon for POWs to die in custody…
Don’t fool yourself now…
Prohibitionists have bad mojo and blood on their hands…many don’t even want to hear or know about it, neither will they accept their role and it’s detrimental effect on the Human Race…
Cancers alone are a raging epidemic globally and are affecting the whole population so widely & dramatically right in the face of the world’s corrupt governments that enforce cannabis prohibition. At the same time their citizens, especially the sick & dying are choosing to defy corrupt government bans as they prove that phytocannabinoids can prolong and save life.
See the genocide now, or does more of the same please you???
While you’re here could you please take a moment to sign the petitions below…

“Thitapah Charoenchuea, from Khon Kaen, Thailand, made an error in judgement. We are human, and all make errors in judgement to one degree or another. One learns from these mistakes. However, when one is condemned to death, one cannot learn and move forward. Thitapah Charoenchuea, is a 26 year old struggling single mother, of a ten year old child, that has been scheduled for execution in connection with a Cannabis charge in Malaysia. Young, and unexperienced, and coerced by an older male, pressured to make the wrong choice. Cannabis is an herb. A plant that is useful to humans in one or more applications. The efficacy of Cannabis has been scientifically proven by over 2000 studies, and counting. Laws have been passed for a variety of reasons. Special interest groups like chemical and pharmaceutical companies steering many of these laws. The only true danger associated with the plant is the ones we have placed on it ourselves. Incarceration and execution…because of an herb…. We ask that you sign this Petition and send a clear message that we are asking for a full pardon for Thitapah Charoenchuea. In the spirit of continued good relations between the Peoples of Thailand and Malaysia, their leaders the honorable Yang di-Pertuan Agong Abdul Halim of Kedah Malaysia and His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, granting Thitapah Charoenchuea clemency, would show generosity and compassion from the Malaysian government. This would be a wonderful gift for Thitapah Charoenchuea, her child and her family, and would serve to strengthen the strong positive relationship shared between Thialand and Malaysia. In the spirit of approaching new year, a time for new beginnings, can’t we give Thitapah Charoenchuea and her child a new beginning? Again for meaning…Please sign this petition and share widely. Thank you.”

“Well, if no one’s in prison for possession, why do we arrest 860,000 Americans a year?
If we’re not putting them in prison, why are we arresting them? Just to extract the money out of them?
As far as I’m concerned, Prohibition is Welfare for Law Enforcement”
~Dr. Robert J. Melamede, PhD.
- So when I was searching and searching online to look for a group that shared the same beliefs as me about repealing prohibition and “No One Should Go To Jail For A Plant!”,.. I found many decent groups and websites etc.,..and also some copy-cats too,…but none duplicated in such a manner or with such an incredible spectrum of a mission as The-Human-Solution… THS is the real McCoy.
…every now and again very good solutions DO come about.
The Human Solution has officially become an international group,..and has also recently chartered in The Human Solution, Friendly Manitoba on December 12th 2013 .

“Welcome to “THE HUMAN SOLUTION”, a coalition of concerned citizens working together to provide education and awareness and provide support for group members.
We are a non-profit grass-roots organization. Our members are a diverse coalition of concerned citizens, united in our common goals of supporting medical marijuana defendants, patients, providers, and the community at large.
We attend court hearings, speak publicly at city council and town hall meetings, give classes to educate the public and remove the stigma of medical marijuana, and hold fundraising events with help with defendants’ legal expenses and assist patients in need.
The Human Solution provides education and support to medical cannabis patients, providers, and the community at large. -THS Mission Statement
Show your support for The Human Solution by wearing our signature green Solidarity Ribbon. Not only will you show support for medical cannabis patients and defendants everywhere, the ribbons make great conversation starters. And the first step to effecting positive change is a conversation.
Made with Love and Aggression
The Human Solution was founded in early 2009, by a small group of concerned advocates who made and wore the first Solidarity Ribbons to show support for medical marijuana defendants being prosecuted in blatant disregard of the fact that they were Prop 215 compliant. The Human Solution believes nobody should EVER go to jail over a plant and that patients and providers should to be free to choose to use or grow cannabis without fearing prosecution, or the seizure of property.
Hand made by patients with “love and aggression,” the ribbons show solidarity with prisoners of the drug war. We understand the human toll the policy of prosecuting legal medical marijuana providers takes on defendants, their families, and ultimately, the community itself.
The majority of legitimate medical marijuana providers being prosecuted do not have an abundance of resources or cash, and often lack support both in and out of court. Many are chronically ill themselves or are caring for ill family members. The ordeal of going through a lengthy legal battles also causes hardships in their personal life, including loss of employment, evictions, and problems with child protective services, all a direct result of the stigma of being labeled and targeted as a “drug dealer” by law enforcement and prosecutors who believe “there is no such thing as medical marijuana.”
So for now, we wear the ribbons. Proudly, defiantly, and in Solidarity!”
Poison – Something to Believe In #2 (Alternate lyrics)
Cannabis refugees in Canada
“There are cases of users of medical cannabis in the United States who, on being persecuted in their own country, have fled across the border to Canada, where they have sought asylum under the United Nations refugee convention. This began occurring in the early part of the 2000s when the U.S. Attorney General, John Ashcroft, ordered a clampdown on the use of medical cannabis in the United States. Some of those who have fled are wanted by the U.S. federal government on charges related to their use of cannabis.”
“Respect all, hurt no one. Love one another. Only by following these beliefs can we win; for we can not beat them with guns or anger. ”
