The combination of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD) could show promise for medical use. According to Cannamedical, the combination of THC and CBD increases clinical efficacy through the entourage effect while reducing unwanted side effects of THC. The THC:CBD ratio of 1:1 has been shown to be effective and well tolerated in observational studies. In addition, the experience of recent years has shown that THC-CBD combination preparations in particular have a good benefit-safety ratio.
